A “Topping-Out Ceremony” was led yesterday by County Manager, David Cotton. He reminded us of the traditions behind the topping out ceremony and the importance of this milestone on such an important project for the County. County Commissioners, Courthouse Staff, Design and Construction Team members all signed the final beam before it was raised into place.
Another full day of punch-listing at the Consolidated Human Services Agency Building in Onslow County yesterday. Three Smith Sinnett team members reviewed every exterior face of the building, which is a surface area of over 98,000 SF including exterior walls, windows, building canopies, site walls, and the roof!
It took (3) People, (2) full days to punch just (1) floor of the Consolidated Human Services Agency building. This critical floor contains (126) rooms within 27,476 SF and holds vital functions for the county’s health department.
Les had a busy Tuesday [01/27/17], in Sneads Ferry, observing the Dixon Middle School construction progress. The school is scheduled for completion early summer, in preparations for the school year beginning in the fall.
