Jacksonville Middle School

- The 650 student middle school is part of a 160 acre education & recreation development sponsored by the Board of Education and the City. Smith Sinnett was instrumental in negotiating the terms of this land development project, providing strategic site planning services, project management, and financial planning.

G.R. Whitfield Elementary School

- The 40,000 square foot addition includes fifteen new classrooms, four resource rooms, a new administrative area, a new media center, ancillary spaces and a new mechanical area.

Loflin Elementary School

- This 18,000 square foot addition transformed an awkwardly composed collection of antiquated buildings into a cohesive, bright, and colorful educational space. The project received three national citations awards from American Schools & University Magazine.

C.G. Credle Elementary School

- Recognized by the Governor of North Carolina during National Historic Preservation Week, C.G. Credle's renovation and addition is an example of Smith Sinnett's ability to integrate historic renovations with new facilities on an existing campus. This project consisted of a classroom and library addition, renovations, and preservation to the historical main existing building.

- The 18,000 square foot renovation to Creedmoor consisted of a new multi-purpose, a classroom addition, and administrative offices.

Northside High School

- This 178,000 square foot facility is designed to house 1,100 students and expand to 1,500. The auditorium is located next to both the arts and vocational arts classrooms encouraging a cooperative atmosphere between the trades and the arts. The use of the two-story central core with a student commons creates a strong visual presense while maintaining green space.

Balfour Elementary School

Mary Potter Intermediate School

Zebulon Middle School

- After a devastating tornado struck the campus and destroyed the existing academic building, Smith Sinnett immediately assessed existing facilities for safety and made plans for a temporary location. Within twelve months, the new two-story classroom addition was ready for occupation.
