This project combines Onslow County’s Health Department and Department of Social Services programs into one efficient and accessible complex. This 88,000 square foot, Consolidated Human Services building provides a full-service clinic with patient rooms, nursing stations, counseling rooms, observation rooms, lab and testing operations, pharmacy, and many other health-related services. In addition, the center includes conference and training spaces, administrative office areas, as well as, cafe and patient and visitor gathering areas. The three-story facility holds the corner of College and Warlick Streets preserving the urban context of the site, while creating a large open courtyard, connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces, ideal for functions such as health screening, farmer’s markets and educational events.
