As we sat down to enjoy a Thanksgiving lunch together today, we reflected on how grateful we are for all who are a part of the extended Smith Sinnett Architecture family: staff, clients, consultants, colleagues, friends. Ed & Drew joined the Roanoke Rapids School Board for a construction tour of the new Manning Elementary School. A dedication & ribbon cutting ceremony has been scheduled for December 10th!
John Knox, formerly John Knox Smith, a founding principal of Smith Sinnett Architecture, peacefully passed away last week on Thursday, August 24. We are all deeply saddened by this loss of our mentor and friend.

Busy day in Onslow yesterday!
A “Topping-Out Ceremony” was led yesterday by County Manager, David Cotton. He reminded us of the traditions behind the topping out ceremony and the importance of this milestone on such an important project for the County. County Commissioners, Courthouse Staff, Design and Construction Team members all signed the final beam before it was raised into place.
We are very excited about the ribbon cutting ceremony for Onslow County Consolidated Human Services on Thursday, June 1st at 9:00am!
