We are pleased to announce that Jay Sikes, AIA, has been promoted to Associate!
Jay is a registered architect with over 15 years of experience, specializing in contemporary design, mixed-use developments, urban infill, adaptive reuse, and historic preservation. He holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. A LEED Accredited Professional and active member of the American Institute of Architects, Jay is deeply engaged in both his profession and the community.
His diverse portfolio includes civic, recreational, higher education, office, commercial, and multi-family residential projects. Passionate about architecture as a cultural discipline, he approaches design as a means to enhance the human experience through thoughtful organization of form and space. In addition to his professional work, Jay contributes to the architectural community through mentorship, teaching as an Adjunct Faculty member at UNC Charlotte’s School of Architecture, and serving as a guest juror at NCSU’s College of Design. His leadership extends to initiatives such as SparkCON and the AIA Triangle Leadership Forum.
