Associate / Architect
Jay believes that architecture is a cultural discipline of concept and phenomenon, tasked with the organization of form and space, for the betterment of humanity. While working for offices in Washington DC, New York City, and North Carolina, Jay has developed expertise in contemporary design, mixed-use, urban infill, adaptive re-use & historic preservation. He has experience in many project types, specifically, office/commercial, upfits & interiors, and multi-family residential. Jay is committed to both his profession and the greater community, through numerous volunteer activities, including SparkCON, CAM-Raleigh, and the Residential Architecture Tour. He is a frequent guest juror at the NCSU College of Design and a mentor to students through the Young Architects Forum.
