Pirate is a hound-beagle-heeler mix with a voice as big as his heart. A true rescue success story, Pirate was discovered by one of our founders during a mission trip in the Kentucky Appalachians—chained to a tree, covered in fleas, and sleeping on a rock. Now, thanks to the love and care of our vice president, Pirate lives the good life as one of the happiest (and most vocal) members of our Bark-itecture team.

Whether he’s alerting the office to every visitor or reminding us to take our lunch breaks, Pirate’s presence is a daily reminder of second chances, compassion, and the healing power of a forever home. He’s our loyal shadow, spirited greeter, and the proud guardian of all things squeaky.
